Honouliuli Konohiki Michael Lee and Peace Maker Tom Berg Cannot Be Thrown off of the Campus in Honouliuli.
Michael Lee is one of the Konohiki of Honouliuli Ahupuaa.
The other Konohiki are Amelia Gora, John Gora, Calvin Santos. Raymond Kamaka, deceased, was also one of the Konohiki assigned, his daughter Alissa Brown is his replacement.
The Konohiki were assigned several years ago.
Tom Berg is recognized as a Peace Maker by our Royal Families.
Please refrain from excluding them from activities which can be overseen by our Konohiki and Peace Maker.
Genealogies of Land Owner Kekauonohi/Miriam Kekauonohi
Note: The highlighted names are my ancestors/we are heirs of.
I, Amelia Gora, am one of Kekauonohi/Miriam Kekauonohi's family members.
Kekauonohi/Miriam Kekauonohi was married to Kamehameha II - Liholiho, married Charles Kanaina, and Levi Haalelea.
Kekauonohi was the hanai/adopted child of Kalaimoku/Kalanimoku whose last wife was Akahi/Chiefess Akahi. Kekauonohi's brother was Leleiohoku/ W.P. Leleiohoku.
Kalaimoku/Kalanimoku had sister Wahinepio who married Kamehameha, and his son Kinau. Kinau and Wahinepio was the mother of Kekauonohi. Her siblings were Kanakaole who we are heirs of and Maulili. Kanakaole and Kalima were the parents of John Kapena who we are descendants of.
Kalaimoku/Kalanimoku had brother Koa/Kekoa who had Kaiama/John Kaiama who had daughter Kekapu who we are heirs of.
Kalaimoku/Kalanimoku had brother Keoua who had Luluhiwalani who had son Alapai Kahekili/Kahekili and hanai/adopted Princess Poomaikelani. We are descendants of both of them.
Michael Lee's ancestor was Kepookalani, the cousin and hanai/adopted sibling of Princess Poomaikelani, my ancestor.
Princess Poomaikelani was the hanai/adopted daughter of Kalola (w) and Luluhiwalani. Kalola (w) was the documented next of kin to Bernice Pauahi.
Kalola (w) father was Kalaniulumoku, brother of Abner Paki the father of Bernice Pauahi.
Abner Paki married the widow of his brother Kalaniulumoku. Her name was Kakainalii.
Abner Paki died leaving his daughter Bernice Pauahi, hanai/adopted Kaeha/Kamakaeha/Namakaeha, stepchildren: Kalola, Kaluaikau, Alapai, Abigail Maheha, Jane Loeau, et. als.
His widow Kakainalii married Ulualoha/Kealoha and adopted Princess Poomaikelani and Kepookalani.
Michael Lee through his ancestor Kepookalani became part of the Royal Families through the above connection.
Therefore, Michael Lee, one of the Konohiki has a connection to Kekauonohi/Miriam Kekauonohi, landowner of Honouliuli Ahupuaa, etc.
Additionally, Michael Lee and Tom Berg are covered under a Protective Order from our Acting Liaison of Foreign Affairs/Relations elected person. This is also known as a parity and immunities based under the International laws.

The community has spoken and we, the local citizens of Na Pueo, have listened!!! Along with the tremendous support of UH, we have put together an educational event in honor of our Hawaiian Short Eared Owl, the Pueo.
Please come and join students, educators and community members for an evening at the UH West Oahu campus in Kapolei. On April 6th, there will be pupus and guest speakers to share their mana'o about the Pueo's history, present state and its future in Hawaii.
